The Shocking Discovery That Rocked the Complex
Marcus had been living in his apartment complex for almost a year now. He kept to himself most of the time, never really socializing with any of the other tenants. That all changed when he laid eyes on Renee.
Renee was Marcus downstairs neighbor. He had always been intrigued by her, admiring her from afar. He would see her come and go in beautiful dresses, always looking so put together. Marcus couldn't help but be drawn to her.
Little did Marcus know, Renee was not what she seemed to be. In reality, Renee was a man who enjoyed cross-dressing. But only certain people in the complex knew that.
Marcus wanted to get to know Renee a little better, but was always too shy to strike up a conversation. He would listen to her singing while she cleans her apartment playing music, Marcus never got the courage to say hello.
One day, Marcus came home from work early and noticed that Renee had accidentally left her door open. Marcus looked inside, curious to see what her apartment looked like. It was then that she saw a pair of men's shoes sitting in the corner.
At first, Marcus was confused. But as he looked closer, Marcus realized that Renee might be actually seeing a man he was shocked, but also fascinated.
Despite knowing Renee's could be seeing someone, Marcus just couldn't stop thinking about Renee. Marcus still had a crush on her, and longed to tell her how he felt. But he didn't know how Renee would react.
A few days later, Marcus decided to bite the bullet and ask Renee out. Marcus nervously knocked on her door and was greeted by Renee, looking beautiful as ever.
"Hi," Marcus said, his heart pounding. "I was wondering if you wanted to grab a bite to eat with me tonight?"
Renee hesitated for a moment, and then smiled. "Sure, that sounds great."
The two of them went out to dinner that night, and Marcus was finally able to get to know the real Renee. They talked about everything under the sun, laughing and sharing stories late into the night.
As the evening came to a close, Marcus mustered up the courage to ask Renee if she was seeing someone.
No Renee said, smiling. "I know it might seem like I’m involved with someone but I’m single and all by myself."
Marcus nodded, impressed by Renee's honesty. He knew then that he was falling even harder for her.
In the end, Marcus and Renee started dating, even though Renee never told Marcus that she was a man. It didn't matter to Marcus ; he was in love with the person that Renee was, no matter what. They spent time together going to movies out to dinner clubs many places happy together, until the 3rd annual apartment complex picnic when it all came to light.
