The Thought Of His Touch

Woman laying down on the sofa thinkingThe Thought Of His Touch-

Emily laid in bed, feeling the warm sheets hug her body as she slid her hands down her curves. She let out a soft moan as her fingers traced the outlines of her body, sending tingles of pleasure throughout her skin. She felt her breathing deepen, her pulse quickening, and her heart pounding in her chest. It was then that she thought of him.

She had a crush on her coworker, Daniel, for the longest time, but never acted on it. He was just too perfect, and she didn't want to make a fool of herself. But tonight, as she lay in bed, imagining him next to her, touching her in all the right places, she couldn't help but wish it was him and not just her own fingers.

As Emily slipped a hand down the front of her pajama pants, she closed her eyes and pictured Daniel's face, his messy hair, and the way his eyes crinkled when he smiled. She moved her fingers with a fervent pace, trying to make up for the emptiness that came with her solitude. She whispered his name into the empty air, and squeezed her nipples hoping that maybe he would somehow hear it and come to her.

But as she climaxed, her breaths becoming erratic and her muscles contracting with each spasm, she couldn't shake the feeling of longing for something more than just her own touch. She craved Daniel's touch, his kisses, and his love. And though she knew it might never come to fruition, she couldn't help but dream.

Emily lay there for a few more moments, basking in the warmth of her afterglow. As she calmed down, she wiped away the sweat that had rolled from her forehead to her cheek, realizing the truth in her desire. She didn't want just anyone, she wanted Daniel. And though she knew it might never be, she also knew that the fantasy was just enough to sustain her for the moment. She would have to wait for another night to find the comfort she desired, as she dreamed of what might never be.
